so i was walking in union square the other day, running, rather... desperate to reach my 7pm vinyasa yoga class on time. when, after multiple circling of blocks, unable to find the yoga studio, i finally conceeded to the fact that i was not, NOT going to make it on time. interestingly enough, while headed to the nearest starbucks to drown myself in a latte, the tao yoga studio caught my eye. maybe because of its shiny sign or maybe because i was feeling a tad guilty about missing class, i headed upstairs to find out what they were about, sans latte...
so $400 later and here i am! yes, i am in fact a sucker and i am impulsive. fortunately though, this was an impulsive move that was quite excellent. the studio is brilliant; a little sanctuary from the moment the elevator opens and the wind chimes announce your arrival. its like walking into a little zen garden, and theres even tea waiting for you. iv been taking class for about 4 days now and i have to say... im feeling damn good. so raise your yerba mattes high in the air you pretty people, tao yoga gets a big A+ from me. cheers
